1. Pink Beach, Komodo Island

2. Long Beach, Padar Island
An elongated, pale-pink curve on Padar’s south side with clear water and easy snorkeling — the quiet counterweight to the viewpoint crowds above it. Currents are fairly calm, so light swimming is easy here. Landable when swell allows; overnight boats have the advantage.
3. Taka Makassar

4. Pink Bay, Padar Island

5. Kelor Island Beach
Steep little hill, bright white wedge of sand, snorkel-ready shallows 25–30 minutes from port. The best first-morning or last-afternoon beach in the park. Guide: Kelor Island.
6. Kanawa Island Beach
A long, calm bay with a house reef starting at the jetty — the family pick, and the closest true snorkel beach to Labuan Bajo. You can see fish swimming even before you step off the dock. Guide: Kanawa Island.
7. Namong Beach
A quiet, lightly visited cove used by crews as a calm swim-and-lunch stop away from the marquee sites — clear water over patch coral, sand running white to faintly pink.
8. Manjarite Beach
A sheltered strip fronting one of the park’s nicest easy snorkel gardens, often paired with an overnight anchorage. Guide: Manjarite.
9. Sebayur Island Beach
Reliable white sand and reef within an hour of port — a favorite check-snorkel and sunset stop on the way in or out. Guide: Sebayur Island.
10. Loh Liang Coves, Komodo Island
The white-sand coves flanking the ranger station make a fine swim after a dragon trek — you come for the dragons, the beach is the bonus.
Honorable Mentions: Mawan, Waecicu & Pede
Three strands narrowly missed the top ten but stay in our rotation. Mawan Beach, inside the park, is still relatively off the main tourist path — a long stretch of soft white sand and serene waters that sometimes play host to manta rays passing through, with coral in good shape precisely because fewer visitors come here. Show up at low tide and the color transitions in the shallows become even more striking.
On the Flores mainland, minutes from town, Waecicu Beach is the local sunset pick — gentle hills around the bay, resorts and warungs nearby for fresh seafood while the sun drops behind the islands. Pede Beach, right in the Labuan Bajo area, draws residents in the late afternoon; it pairs well with a short run to Kalong Island to watch thousands of bats emerge at dusk.
