Itinerary for 8 Days 7 Nights in North Raja Ampat - Raja Ampat Liveaboard
After arriving at Domine Eduard Osok, you will be picked up by a crew member and taken to the port, about 20 minutes away. Our first night will be spent anchoring off Batanta Island. Batanta, the smallest of Raja Ampat’s four main islands, offers stunning views of the reef and rainforest.
Our morning sail will take us to the beautiful Fam Islands, where we will enjoy hidden bays and sheltered blue lagoons. Kayaking or diving on the island can lead you to some of the most beautiful coral gardens in the region. Toward the end of the day, we’ll take a sunset hike to admire panoramic views from the highest point of one of the islands.
One of Raja Ampat’s closest islands, Kawe Island has spectacular white sand beaches and picturesque scenery, including a waterfall on the western side. It is an excellent diving and snorkeling spot, where you will find impressive coral formations teeming with schools of fish. It is even possible to swim with manta rays.
The next stop is Wayag Islands, the jewel of Raja Ampat that boasts the most iconic scenery. You can experience breathtaking views of the stunning landscapes by climbing one of the many island peaks. Among the activities you can enjoy are diving or snorkeling, checking out the rich marine life, or paddleboarding along the dramatic limestone islands’ shorelines. At night, we can enjoy a few cocktails and a barbecue on the beach.
Our next destination is Wofoh Island, a great place whether you’re a diver or not. Multiple dive sites boast a diverse range of coral types, including boulder sponges, soft corals, and barrel sponges teeming with colorful fish. With calm waters surrounding the islands, kayaking and paddleboarding are great activities, while sundowners and barbecue dinners are perfect on the white sand beaches.
Raja Ampat’s Kri Island offers some of the finest diving in the world, and its spectacular reef holds a world record for the number of fish species recorded in a single dive. This is one of the few places where you can see wobbegongs as well as great schools of trevallies, tuna, and barracuda. At the end of the day, relax on a white sandbank nearby.
The day begins early with a trek in the jungle to search for the magnificent Red Bird of Paradise. Afterward, you can explore ‘The Passage’, a narrow strait connecting Gam to Waigeo, where the rainforest meets the reef in a labyrinth of limestone. You can also experience bird watching paddle boarding or kayaking on the island before an overnight cruise to Matan Island.
Swim one last time before heading back to Sorong. You will be transferred to Domine Eduard Osok Airport by tender and private vehicle.

Early cruise to reach the amazing Tomolol Bay in Misool Island. Numerous small Karst formation islands dot the bay, each completely different from the next. The maze-like paradise has crystal clear waters, dramatic scenery, and a maze-like atmosphere which makes it easy to get lost. It is possible either to swim or paddle into complete darkness within a massive cave featuring stalactites and light from above. For the locals, it is a sacred site.
Due to its very specific seascape, Farondi is often a favorite dive spot. Diverse and colorful corals can be seen along with a wide variety of marine life in this dive site. Kayaks and paddle boards can also be used to explore rugged bays.
Visiting Pisang Island on the way to Kiti Kiti is a great way to spend the day. It is a beautiful beach with great diving and great for surface water sports to be found in the middle of nowhere between a group of small islands.
Kiti Kiti is a vast and powerful waterfall located in the Wayag Archipelago, the jewel of Raja Ampat. Kiti Kiti waterfall cascaded directly into the sea in a beautiful bay. The locals have used it to replenish their water supplies for many years. There are natural showers, ocean views, rainforest tours, and maybe we can even spot a tree kangaroo. You can dive or snorkel here in fascinating freshwater
We arrive early in the morning at the mouth of Triton Bay, which stretches for 50 kilometers, with coral reefs still flourishing in it. You can see Papua New Guinea’s virgin forest beyond the limestone ‘castle’. There are also exotic birds and insect-eating plants to see, and you can dive in the crystal clear waters.
A short early morning cruise takes us to Namatota. To get permission to swim with the whale sharks, we visit the charming little village of Maimai. Namatota is the only place in the world where the sharks do not migrate. It is also common to see sperm whales here.
The cruise departs Kaimana early in the morning, where guests disembark after breakfast. You will be transferred to the airport by the crew.
Itinerary for 15 Days 14 Nights - Raja Ampat Liveaboard
After arriving at Domine Eduard Osok, you will be picked up by a crew member and taken to the port, about 20 minutes away. Our first destination is a short cruise to Senapan Island. Located in the middle of a great reef and surrounded by white sand beaches, this island is a great place for snorkeling. It’s the perfect place to try watersports. The cruise continues overnight to Farondi.
Due to its very specific seascape, Farondi is often a favorite dive spot. Diverse and colorful corals can be seen along with a wide variety of marine life in this dive site. Kayaks and paddle boards can also be used to explore rugged bays.
Tomolol located in Misool Island is also known as the Thousand Temples because it is surrounded by many small islands. Since we have to pass through the bay where there is a pearl farm, we need permission from the local village and the security guards. To get to the cave, it takes about 25 minutes. The cave is explored by swimming and snorkeling.
Fam Island is a hidden bay famous for its great views. Located just 10 minutes from the bay, it is the best place to snorkel and dive for healthy hard coral gardens. Visibility is very shallow and clear.
There are two little islands, each with a very clean, soft white beach and a good place to barbecue. Paddleboarding and kayaking around the island are popular activities in the usually very clear and calm water.
Wayag Island is the icon of Raja Ampat with a breathtaking viewpoint, it takes about 25 minutes to reach the top. There are many white sand beaches in the area, so kayaking is a great way to enjoy the beach. One ranger station provides feeding opportunities for Blacktip Reef Sharks.
In Raja Ampat, North Waigeo is the best place to surf from September to March. Within 15 miles of Manuran and Moni islands, there are five breaks with good shelter for the night, and in case we are lucky, some of the kids may join us on the waves.
Due to the calmness of the bay, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, and kayaking are highly recommended. There is a narrow channel called “The Passage”. There’s nothing better than having the jungle meet the crystal-clear waters of the tropics in a place like this. Throughout the sky, birds can be seen everywhere. There is also a good dive site here. There will be strong currents, but the dive is shallow.
Mioskon Island is a beautiful island. There are some of the best dive sites in Raja Ampat on this island (Blue Magic, Mioskon, Chicken Reef). In the local Papuan dialect, Mioskon means sitting island, and it’s very famous for seeing Fruit Bats. Despite its small size, the island has a nice white beach.
There are two dive resorts on the island, one of which is the first in Raja Ampat. There is a small island in front of it with a very long white sand beach that we can visit.

The island of Matan has a beautiful white sand beach, ideal for relaxing and doing water sports in the afternoon. Divers may find this an ideal place for a check dive. Guests will disembark after breakfast following a short cruise to Sorong. They will be transferred to the airport by the crew.
