A Komodo boat charter costs anywhere from IDR 1,450,000 per person for a shared speedboat day trip to USD 30,000 per night for the 78-metre flagship superyacht Komodo Signature. The price depends on one thing above all: whether you join a shared departure (priced per person) or take a whole boat privately (priced per boat, per night). Every figure below is a published Komodo Luxury rate, taken from the live rate card of each vessel or package page.

How much is a 3 day 2 night (3D2N) Komodo trip?
On a shared 3D2N open trip you pay USD 350–710 per person depending on cabin class. A private 3D2N charter starts around USD 6,000 per boat on entry-luxury phinisi; as a published example, the VIP phinisi Elbark Cruise lists 3D2N at USD 9,650 for the whole boat (1–10 guests) or USD 400–700 per person on its shared departures.
What the rate includes — and what it never includes
Whole-boat rates include the full crew, private chef and meals, cabins, drinking water and snorkelling gear. Komodo National Park entrance and ranger fees are always charged separately at the government rate on your travel date, and VVIP/superyacht charters may carry 11–12% VAT. The figure confirmed in your written quotation is the one that applies.
Why prices differ between boats
Length, cabin count, build year and service tier drive the rate: a 25 m, 7-cabin phinisi such as Ayvara books from USD 5,500 per night, while the 40 m Neptune with a larger deck plan lists from USD 8,900. Seasonality matters too — peak dates (June–September) sell out months ahead.
