Three days is the classic shape of a private Komodo charter: long enough for every signature stop, short enough to fit a Bali itinerary. This is how our captains sequence it.
Day 1
Board mid-morning at Labuan Bajo harbour, cruise out past Bidadari, and warm up with the short, steep climb on Kelor Island — your first panorama of the archipelago. Snorkel the house reef at Manjarite over lunch, then anchor off Kalong Island at dusk as tens of thousands of flying foxes stream out for the night hunt.
Day 2
The flagship day starts before light: the Padar Island viewpoint at sunrise, before the day boats arrive. Pink Beach follows for a slow breakfast and snorkel, then the ranger-guided dragon trek at Loh Liang on Komodo Island. Afternoon is for the water — Manta Point when the current runs right, Taka Makassar sandbar when it does not.
Day 3
A gentle final morning: turtles over the seagrass at Siaba Besar or a last reef at Sebayur, brunch on deck, and the cruise home to Labuan Bajo by early afternoon — in time for the evening flight to Bali.

Government fees are itemized separately on every quote. The Komodo National Park entry ticket is set under Government Regulation No. 36/2024 as displayed by the Balai: IDR 250,000 per international visitor per day and IDR 50,000 per Indonesian visitor per day (IDR 75,000 for Indonesian visitors on Sundays and public holidays). Our desk registers each guest, pays the park, and lists the park line separately on your invoice. Since 22 September 2026 entry is only on the date printed on the e-ticket. Quota is confirmed at registration, never promised, and tickets are non-refundable.
Three days buys the northern Komodo National Park loop — Padar, Pink Beach, Loh Liang and the reef line — deliberately without Rinca: that fourth-day island is exactly what separates this itinerary from the 4D3N ("add a day, add Rinca").
First stop out of harbour: a ten-minute summit scramble with the whole archipelago laid out behind you — short, steep and the perfect legs-stretcher after boarding.
At dusk the mangrove island empties its colony: tens of thousands of flying foxes streaming across a red sky. Your boat anchors in the channel for front-row viewing at dinner.
A three-kilometre rubble drift where reef mantas queue at cleaning stations. On the 3D2N you snorkel it as a drift — the boat drops you up-current and collects you down-line; wetsuit optional, reef hook unnecessary, guides in the water.
Sheltered seagrass bowl with green turtles grazing in twos and threes — the calmest snorkel of the loop and the one the crew saves for tired legs on day three.
The farewell reef: hard-coral gardens on a gentle slope, ten minutes from the homeward line to Labuan Bajo.
