Every major destination in and around Komodo National Park is reached by boat from Labuan Bajo, the gateway town on Flores with a direct airport (LBJ). Distances below are approximate straight-line figures; travel times assume a standard speedboat. A typical one-day trip covers Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Taka Makassar, Manta Point and Kanawa in a single loop, while liveaboard itineraries add Rinca, Kalong and the dive sites at an unhurried pace.

Since April 2026 the park operates a daily cap of 1,000 visitors across its sites (reported by RRI and Floresa), so tickets are best arranged in advance — see current Komodo National Park entrance fees. All park sites are open and sailing runs normally.
