Every charter sold by Komodo Luxury sails under one written standard. We own and operate 9 vessels and also dispatch partner vessels owned by third parties. Owned vessels are maintained continuously by our in-house crew; partner vessels are checked against the 12-point standard below before we dispatch a charter on them. Vessels that fail a check are not dispatched until the issue is fixed.
On the 9 vessels we own — Komodo Signature, Komodo Prestige, Naturalia Cruise, Ayvara Cruises, Malca Voyages, Catnazse Liveaboard, Pinta Phinisi, Mosalaki Cruise and Neptune Cruise — we control crew, maintenance and service directly, year-round. On partner vessels the owner controls day-to-day standards; our role is to inspect before dispatch, brief the crew on the itinerary, and stand behind the booking. This distinction is disclosed on every listing, and it is why we publish fleet status on each vessel page rather than presenting the whole directory as “our fleet”.
No operator with hundreds of departures a year has a perfect record, and we do not hide critical reviews. If a vessel or service issue occurs mid-trip, our Labuan Bajo desk works the problem while you are still on the water — replacement equipment, itinerary adjustment, or moving guests to another vessel where possible — and follows up afterwards. Our complete, unedited review record across Google, TripAdvisor and Trustindex is linked from the review registry.
Standard published August 2026. Applies to all charters dispatched by Komodo Luxury.
