ALEXA, operated by ALEXA Private Cruises, is a 31-metre traditional Indonesian phinisi with a claim few yachts anywhere can make: her operator describes her as the biggest yacht in the world catering for two passengers only. A former cargo phinisi converted end to end and launched as a luxury cruiser in 2013, she carries a single master suite — and nothing else — making every departure a fully private charter for two.
That one suite sits on the main deck with an en-suite bathroom and its own private balcony over the water. The rest of the ship belongs to the couple as well: an upper deck with open-air dining, sunbeds, an open navigation platform, and a romantic Under-The-Stars sleeping area; a main-deck living and dining room with TV lounge; and a lower deck holding the galley, bar, library lounge, and five crew cabins.
