Splendour, operated by Splendour Charters, is a 20-metre wooden yacht built at Ara Beach, Sulawesi, in the same boatbuilding tradition that produces Indonesia's great phinisi — but styled after the classic American pleasure yachts of the 1920s. The result is one of the most distinctive silhouettes in the Komodo charter fleet: low, graceful lines in ironwood and teak, with an open-plan layout across three decks that blurs the line between interior and sea.
She hosts up to 6 guests in 3 cabins — an air-conditioned en-suite Master Cabin fitted with a Bang & Olufsen sound system, plus two air-conditioned Double cabins — looked after by a crew of six, with a chef who shapes each day's menu around the guests on board. Splendour’s open-plan, three-deck layout keeps guests connected to the sea from every space. The air-conditioned Master Cabin carries an en-suite bathroom and a Bang & Olufsen sound system; two further air-conditioned Double cabins complete the accommodation. A battery system delivers fully silent nights at anchor, and evenings can end with the outdoor cinema setup on deck.
