Not every guest needs a superyacht. If the appeal is the hand-built ironwood hull and sail rig rather than the tender garage, the same crews operate traditional Indonesian phinisi sailing under canvas, usually at a lower nightly rate for the same cabin count. Guests who want the whole vessel to themselves but with a shorter, tighter itinerary should compare whole-boat private charter arrangements out of Labuan Bajo.

Entry luxury yachts start at USD 3,800 per night, classic VVIP phinisi run USD 4,500–10,800 per night, premium superyacht phinisi USD 12,000–18,700 per night, and ultra-luxury flagships USD 20,000–27,000 per night. Vessels above USD 12,000 per night are quoted plus 11–12% Indonesian VAT.
Every rate on this page is per night for the entire vessel, including cabins, crew, chef, fuel and onboard activities — not per person. A USD 5,900 per night yacht sleeping 10 guests works out at roughly USD 590 per person per night when the boat is full.
The lowest published private luxury rate in the Komodo Luxury fleet is USD 3,800 per night for Anne Bonny (30 m, 3 cabins, up to 9 guests). Ikan Kayu Yacht follows at USD 3,900 per night and Manta Mae at USD 4,200 per night, both whole-boat.
Charters are billed per night, so a 3 days / 2 nights itinerary is two nights. At published 2026 rates that is roughly USD 7,600 for the entry tier and up to USD 54,000 for an ultra-luxury flagship, before VAT and national park fees.
The nightly rate covers the whole vessel: air-conditioned cabins, full crew and captain, private chef and all meals, non-alcoholic drinks, fuel, snorkelling gear, kayaks and paddleboards, guided island excursions and Labuan Bajo harbour transfers.
Komodo National Park entrance and ranger fees are paid separately — Komodo Luxury lists an estimated IDR 400,000 for Indonesian citizens and IDR 700,000 for foreign visitors, subject to prevailing government regulations at the time of travel. A drone permit inside the park is an estimated IDR 1,100,000 and must be requested 7 days ahead. Flights to Labuan Bajo, alcohol, scuba diving, travel insurance and crew gratuities are also excluded, and 11–12% VAT applies on the vessels marked above.

Peak windows (April–September, Christmas and New Year) are usually taken 6–12 months ahead, so 2027 charters are best confirmed during 2026.
