Jeeva Samudera Liveaboard is a luxury phinisi built by hand in teak and ironwood, and one of the newest boats in the Raja Ampat liveaboard fleet. She runs as a Raja Ampat private charter only, so the dive plan belongs to your group rather than a fixed roster: an early drift through the Dampier Strait, a second pass at Manta Sandy when the current turns, a village morning at Arborek, the ridge walk above Piaynemo. That flexibility is the practical difference between a Raja Ampat yacht charter and a shared diving liveaboard. Her Grand Expedition runs out of Sorong and takes in Waisai, Yenbuba, Sawandarek, Friwen, Kabui Bay and Yeben Island, and shorter or longer Raja Ampat boat charter itineraries are built to order.
Air conditioning runs through the saloon, where the bar sits alongside the indoor dining table and a lounge. Three open decks stack above and behind it: one shaded for dining, one kept clear for yoga at first light, and a top deck of sun loungers that earns its keep on the long legs between the Dampier Strait and Piaynemo. Connectivity is by Starlink, subject to coverage, which is still rare on a Raja Ampat liveaboard.
Both 7-metre RIB tenders are rigged for diving and snorkelling, and double up for village landings at Arborek and Sawandarek. The equipment inventory covers sea scooters, water skis and a wakeboard; two stand-up paddle boards, four two-person kayaks and towable inflatables; and snorkelling, diving and fishing gear with a GoPro for the reef. Ashore and at anchor the crew adds a floating platform, an outdoor cinema, beach picnics, BBQs and beach dinners. As on any Raja Ampat diving liveaboard, use of the kit depends on weather and sea state.
