Mantra is a 23-metre traditional Indonesian sailing phinisi with a 6.5-metre beam, newly built with modern amenities and published specifications for up to 8 guests in 3 air-conditioned cabins. Each cabin pairs a queen bed with a single bed and en-suite facilities, making her a natural fit for small groups, families, and dive parties of up to eight.
She is a genuine expedition boat. A PADI Divemaster sails on board with a dive shop carrying rental equipment for all 8 guests, and the water-sports locker adds two double sea kayaks, a single kayak, and a stand-up paddleboard. A 6-metre fiberglass tender with a 40 HP outboard runs landings, drift-dive pickups, and beach drops. Between excursions, life on board centres on the broad foredeck lounge and al-fresco dining prepared by the onboard chef, with a crew of eight running the ship. A 150-litre-per-hour watermaker and a 3,500-litre freshwater tank keep her comfortable far from port, cruising at 8 knots.
Mantra's published operating area is among the widest of any partner vessel in the network: Komodo National Park and Nusa Tenggara from April to September, seasonal Raja Ampat charters, and crossing itineraries through South Sulawesi, the Banda Islands, and Maluku — the classic Indonesian ring route, sailed in traditional phinisi style.
