Four days is the full-park sweet spot: everything the 3D2N covers, plus the southern crossing to Rinca and a dive option the shorter loop cannot fit.
Summit hike on Kelor, house-reef snorkel over Manjarite's staghorn terraces, then the flying-fox exodus at Kalong — the classic opening day, at a slower pulse than the 3D2N because nothing else is squeezed in behind it.
Pre-dawn Padar for the three-bay panorama, a slow morning on the pink sand, the ranger-guided dragon trek at Loh Liang, and Manta Point (Karang Makassar) when the current runs — the day most guests replay for years.
The sandbar day: Taka Makassar's white crescent at low tide for the drone shot, Kanawa's turquoise shelf for long lazy snorkelling, Sebayur's coral garden at golden hour.

One day — and that day is Rinca plus breathing room: the 3D2N runs the northern loop only; the 4D3N adds Loh Buaya, Taka Makassar time and the Batu Bolong dive option.
Yes — day 4 is built around Loh Buaya on Rinca, the park's second ranger station and its most active nesting ground.
Easily: a fifth day adds Gili Lawa's sunrise ridge or a second dive day — your charter desk re-sequences the route; from there the natural next step is the 7D6N.
Longer 4D3N itineraries run less often than day trips, and with 2027 park entries capped (mechanics in the 2027 quota guide), they are the first departures we close. If Rinca and the dive option matter to your 2027 plan, this is the booking to fix early — day formats can wait; this one should not.
Late 2026 is the underrated window: the full-park route with the year's calmest seas and emptiest anchorages (Komodo in October).
