Teman Liveaboard Phinisi is a 36-meter Indonesian phinisi stretching 28 meters on deck with a 7.5-meter beam, built to explore the pristine waters around Komodo Island. This Teman Liveaboard Boat Charter runs on Mitsubishi 6D22 engines delivering 270hp, maintaining a steady 7-knot cruise speed and reaching up to 9 knots when needed, all while displaying the iconic two-mast, six-sail silhouette of a traditional phinisi. Teman Phinisi systems include two Bauer air compressors for diving, an NRC Nitrox membrane system with 500L capacity, a dedicated water maker, dual 3,500L freshwater tanks, and twin 3,500L fuel tanks that provide the range needed for multi-day trips around Komodo Island. Running on a 220V/50Hz electrical setup powered by 40KVA and 22.5KVA generators, Teman keeps everything operational throughout your stay. The 2.4-meter draft allows access to both deeper waters and shallow coral gardens, opening up dive sites across the region.
Teman Liveaboard Boat Charter provides five private cabins with air conditioning and attached bathrooms—the Master Cabin called Sulawesi, two double cabins named Banda and Flores, plus two triple-occupancy cabins Celebes and Seram. The dive platform comes fully set up and Nitrox-capable, with two Bauer compressors ready to go and rental equipment on hand if you’re packing light. Meals are served buffet-style in the indoor dining space, featuring a mix of homemade Indonesian dishes and familiar Western options prepared fresh daily. The indoor common area has bean bags, cushions, a TV with karaoke setup, sofas for lounging, and a small book collection for downtime. Up top, the sun deck offers additional bean bag seating, covered spots for shade, low tables, and soft lighting that makes evenings around Komodo Island especially memorable, whether you’re watching the sky change colors or swapping dive stories under the stars.
