For most nationalities — including US, UK, EU and Australian passport holders — a Bali-Komodo trip of up to 30 days runs on Indonesia’s electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA), extendable once for a second 30 days. Apply only at the official immigration portal, evisa.imigrasi.go.id, and verify the current fee there before paying anyone: the portal is the single source of truth, and every figure on third-party “visa agency” sites carries markup.
The only official portal — and how to spot the imitators
The genuine e-VOA lives on the go.id government domain. Imitator sites buy search ads, copy the interface, and charge service fees on top of the official rate. Two checks defeat all of them: the domain must end in imigrasi.go.id, and the fee shown must match the portal itself — verify the current fee on the official portal rather than trusting any third-party price list, including ours.
The All Indonesia Arrival Card: free, online, 72 hours before
Since 2025, Indonesia consolidated immigration, customs and health declarations into one QR code: the All Indonesia Arrival Card, completed free of charge at allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id up to 72 hours before landing. One submission can cover a family travelling together. It is not a visa — you still need your e-VOA or visa-free entry alongside it.
The Bali tourist levy
Bali charges a one-time provincial tourist levy (IDR 150,000 at our last verification) paid through the official Love Bali platform — separate from the national visa and separate again from park fees further east.
The Komodo fee is a park ticket, not a visa
Komodo National Park issues dated entry tickets at IDR 650,000 (≈ USD 40) per international visitor — a conservation instrument under an annual visitor cap, not an immigration document. Trips longer than 60 days
Beyond the extended e-VOA ceiling, the C1 visit visa covers longer tourism stays, and remote workers have dedicated routes such as the E33G — for both, verify the current requirements and fees on the official e-visa portal; the income thresholds and tariffs change and we deliberately do not republish numbers the government owns.
Entry requirements beyond the visa
Three documents get checked at the desk: a passport valid six months beyond arrival, proof of onward travel, and — occasionally — proof of funds. Our concierge checks all three against your itinerary before you fly.

Documents versus booking timeline
Our booking ledger median is 74 days of lead time; the visa workflow needs far less. A workable sequence: book boat and villa first (they are capacity-constrained; see the Komodo tour from Bali), complete the e-VOA in the fortnight before departure, arrival card inside 72 hours, and the DPS arrival plan confirmed alongside.

Yes — the All Indonesia Arrival Card supports family submissions in one form, generating the QR codes together, free of charge.
What happens if I overstay by one day?
Indonesia fines overstays per day and repeat or long overstays risk harder consequences. If your plans stretch, extend the e-VOA before expiry — our concierge flags the deadline for every guest file.
Do I need a separate visa or permit for Komodo National Park itself?
