The 7-step verification checklist
- Find the legal entity. A legitimate operator names its PT (limited company) somewhere public. Ask for it and check that the entity — not just a brand name — appears on the invoice and contract.
- Check the license class. Indonesian tour operators are registered under KBLI 79120 (tour operator activities). Ask for the registration number; a serious operator answers in minutes.
