Where is Raja Ampat

The Indonesian archipelago’s easternmost island, Raja Ampat, is located in Southwest Papua. It consists of approximately 1,500 small islands, most of which are uninhabited. The name Raja Ampat translates to “The Four Kings” in Bahasa Indonesia, which refers to four main islands: Salawati, Batanta, Waigeo, and Misool.

As part of the Coral Triangle, Raja Ampat is known for its breathtaking landscapes and rich marine biodiversity. Diverse species of fish live on this fascinating island, along with teeming coral reefs and a variety of marine creatures. Thus, Raja Ampat is one of the best dive spots in the world.
