Payment Process

Payment is made in the following steps:

• A 50% deposit is required to secure the trip.
• The deposit is non-refundable in the event of participant cancellation at any time.
• The remaining payment must be made no later than 14 days before the trip.
• The full payment must be made if the trip is less than 14 days away.

Documentation Consent

KomodoLuxury provides documentation during the trip. Each participant agrees to be recorded and photographed, and Komodo Luxury reserves the right to use the footage for promotional purposes.

Note:

Some airlines only occasionally offer direct flights. Please verify the availability of direct flights through the respective airline’s application/ internet. The best Suggestion all the participants need to arrive one day before the trip because normally the trip pick-up will start at 08.30 am – 10.30 am. The participant can also come on the day of the sailing trip with the condition, that the participant has to arrive in Labuan Bajo at the latest at 09.00 am. Please note that we are not responsible for any cancellation or delay of the flights.

Cancellation

1. Participant Cancellation
   If a participant cancels, the payment made cannot be refunded, rescheduled, or moved to another trip. However, participants may find a replacement person to take their place.
2. Force Majeure
   In force majeure (natural disasters, bad weather, riots, disease outbreaks, government regulations, or other coercive conditions), the trip may be changed or canceled without refund for participants, and KomodoLuxury is not liable for any losses or inconvenience caused.
   (Force majeure refers to events beyond human control that prevent activities from being carried out properly.)
3. Late Arrival
   Participants who arrive late at the meeting point, causing an extension of the itinerary, inconvenience to other participants, or other disruptions, are considered to have resigned from the trip with no refund.
4. We are not responsible for the terms and conditions set forth by any other company.

Responsibility

1. KomodoLuxury is not responsible and cannot be held liable for changes or cancellations of flight schedules, baggage damage or loss, airlines, hotels, or other transportation delays, or for damage or loss of participants’ personal belongings during the trip. KomodoLuxury is also not liable for changes or reductions in travel due to Force Majeure.
2. Participants are responsible for any loss or damage to trip facilities such as life jackets, snorkels, and masks. The cost of the damaged or lost items will be charged to the participant.
3. Participants must follow the instructions of the tour leader during the trip and cannot make unilateral decisions in any form without our consent.
4. Suppose any participant engages in illegal drug use or causes disturbances that inconvenience other participants during the trip. In that case, KomodoLuxury reserves the right to remove or repatriate the participant without any refund of payments made.
