Komodo Luxury operates its own private yacht charter fleet from Labuan Bajo, with traditional phinisi yachts and modern superyachts available for exclusive full-vessel Komodo yacht charter across Komodo National Park. Private charters are priced per package for the whole boat, from USD 5,900 (Catnazse, 1 to 12 guests, 2D1N, 2026 rate card; USD 6,400 on the 2027 card), covering Padar Island, Pink Beach, Manta Point, Batu Bolong and Taka Makassar. Every itinerary is built around your schedule; park charges are quoted separately.

Whether you book it as a Komodo boat charter or a full yacht charter, every boat rental in Komodo with us is whole-vessel: crew, private chef and fuel are always included, while Komodo National Park tickets are registered by our desk for your sailing dates and listed as their own line on the invoice; since 22 September 2026 the park allows entry only on the e-ticket date.
A Komodo yacht charter is a private, crewed boat rental from Labuan Bajo into Komodo National Park — dragons, Padar, Pink Beach and manta sites on one itinerary. Private charters run USD 1,800–30,000 per night depending on vessel class; our own liveaboards are quoted as one package total for the whole boat, by duration and guest band.

Unlike day tours or shared boats, a yacht charter in Komodo gives you complete freedom to design your journey through this UNESCO World Heritage Site at your own pace. Komodo National Park covers about 1,733 km² of islands and sea in its UNESCO listing (some official summaries cite up to 1,817 km²), of which roughly 603 km² is land. Three major islands anchor the map - Komodo, Rinca and Padar - surrounded by dozens of smaller islands and reefs, with Labuan Bajo on Flores as the only gateway port. That geometry produces the two classic routes: the day-trip loop (Padar sunrise → Pink Beach → Manta Point → Taka Makassar → home) and the 3D2N lap, which adds Rinca or Loh Liang dragon treks, a Kalong sunset and empty golden-hour swims at Siaba - the reason most guests who can spare two nights choose a 3D2N sailing itinerary. Plan ahead: most guests reserve about two months before departure.
The park authority divides Komodo's waters and islands into zones, and your captain routes around them: core and wilderness zones (fully protected, no visitor landing), tourism-use zones (the landings and dive sites on this page), traditional-use and settlement zones (local fishing grounds and the villages inside the park), plus pelagic and research zones. Entry is set under Government Regulation No. 36/2024 as displayed by the Balai, IDR 250,000 per international visitor per day; current rates and the changelog are on our entrance fees page.
Wild Komodo dragons live on five areas of the map: Komodo Island, Rinca, the small islands of Gili Motang and Nusa Kode, and parts of western Flores outside the park. Padar has no resident population, and the beach-and-reef islands (Kelor, Kanawa, Sebayur, Siaba, Taka Makassar) are dragon-free visitor sites. Labuan Bajo (airport code LBJ) is the sole gateway: about 1 hour 10 minutes by air from Bali, with the harbor ten minutes from the terminal. There is no airstrip inside the park and no ferry-hopping shortcut worth planning around - every spot above is reached by boat from Labuan Bajo, which is why the distance tables, not the flight, shape your itinerary.
Komodo Luxury (PT Komodo Bahari Nusantara, operating since 2015) runs daily departures from Labuan Bajo with a fleet of 9 owned phinisi and more than 200 vetted partner yachts, rated 4.9/5 by over 1,500 guests. The distances above are constant; the comfort of covering them is not. In the dry season (April-November) the southeast trades blow steadily, the central channel stays workable and the classic loops run daily. In the northwest-wind months (roughly January-February) crews re-order the same map - sheltering behind Rinca's east coast, favoring lee-side landings like Siaba and the gateway islands, and running the exposed Padar-Pink Beach leg in the morning calm. The park never closes; the route order just rotates around the wind, which is exactly the judgment call you hire a local captain for. Divers read the map by season too: the central channel fires year-round, while the plankton-rich months around December-March bring the manta aggregations to Karang Makassar at their densest.
The park is a lived-in landscape, not an empty one: Komodo village sits on Komodo Island's east coast, Papagarang and Rinca villages on their own islands, all inside traditional-settlement zones that predate the park. Their fishing platforms and colorful boats are part of the seascape you cruise through, and several of our routes pass close enough for guests to understand the park as these communities' home waters - another reason routes follow the zoning map rather than straight lines.

All figures are whole-vessel (private charter) rates published on Komodo Luxury vessel pages, quoted in US dollars as one package total for the whole boat by duration and guest band, unless marked otherwise. Komodo National Park entrance, ranger, conservation and diving permits are excluded and quoted separately, set under Government Regulation No. 36/2024 as displayed by the Balai and confirmed by our desk as their own line on your invoice. Indonesian VAT (11 to 12%) is additional where a vessel is marked "+ VAT". A number of vessels in the fleet are quoted on request. Rates reviewed 24 September 2026 and valid for the 2026 and 2027 seasons; peak dates (July to August and New Year) are priced higher.

Two rate cards apply: Malca and Ayvara carry the same figures in 2026 and 2027, while Catnazse and Naturalia have a higher 2027 card (Catnazse 2D1N USD 5,900 in 2026, USD 6,400 in 2027, 1 to 12 guests). Festive weeks close first (Christmas-New Year charter guide); current movement is tracked on the 2027 charter calendar.
