Coralia Liveaboard is a 48-metre traditional phinisi — a two-mast wooden schooner built in the Indonesian style but finished to a standard that is closer to a private yacht. The interiors were drawn by the interior designer Deirdre Renniers, and it shows in the details: ikat textile walls, teak beams, warm lighting and a saloon that reads more like a living room than a boat lounge. She measures 48m with a 9.10-metre beam, runs two Mitsubishi Marine engines of 500HP and 360HP, and cruises at 7 to 9 knots.
Coralia Liveaboard Boat Charter takes a normal capacity of 16 guests across eight cabins, which on a hull this size is genuinely generous — the space per guest is closer to a small ship than a liveaboard. There are four master cabins at 30 m², each named after a coral: Xenia, Tubipora, Anthelia and Ellisella, and each with its own private balcony. Below them sit two double cabins of 24 m², Galaxea and Isopora, and two twin cabins of 22 m² with separate beds, Merulina and Halomitra. Every cabin is air-conditioned and non-smoking with a private bathroom and warm freshwater shower. Looking after those 16 guests are 20 crew and two cruise directors, a ratio that most Raja Ampat liveaboards do not come close to.
The diving is where the boat makes its case. Two Bauer compressors and an NRC nitrox membrane keep 53 tanks turned around, nitrox is free for certified divers, and up to four guided dives a day are scheduled including a night dive when the conditions allow. Two 8-metre fibreglass dinghies on twin Yamaha 40HP outboards run divers to the sites, and a dedicated camera room with individual workstations handles the gear that underwater photographers actually travel with. Beyond Raja Ampat, Coralia Liveaboard also runs the Banda Sea, Halmahera, Cenderawasih Bay, Komodo and Alor. Rates are quoted per departure — contact our team for current availability and pricing.
Coralia Liveaboard runs an unusually deep dive operation for a boat that only carries 16 guests. Two Bauer compressors and an NRC nitrox membrane feed a bank of 45 x 11-litre, 6 x 15-litre and 2 x 8-litre tanks, and nitrox is offered free of charge to certified divers rather than sold as an upgrade. Up to four guided dives a day are on the schedule, night dive included when conditions allow, and two 8-metre fibreglass dinghies — each on twin Yamaha 40HP outboards — mean the group can split across sites instead of moving as one block. There is a dedicated camera room too, air-conditioned, with individual workstations, proper storage and enough charging points that nobody is hunting for a socket at midnight.
Life on board is spread across four decks. The air-conditioned saloon holds the indoor dining table, deep sofas and panoramic windows; outside, meals move to the deck under lanterns, and there are several shaded lounging areas plus a sky deck above. All eight cabins are air-conditioned and non-smoking with private bathrooms and warm freshwater showers, and the four master cabins each open onto a private balcony — folding glass doors, a daybed and the ocean a metre away. Twin generators run the boat at 220V, fresh water comes from 10,000 litres of tankage plus a desalination unit rated at 8,000 litres a day, and satellite WiFi covers messaging, email and light browsing when coverage allows. Safety cover is thorough: four 15-person life rafts, AED, emergency oxygen, Nautilus LifeLine, smoke detectors in every cabin, flares and first aid.

Twenty crew plus two cruise directors, looking after a maximum of 16 guests. That is more than one crew member per guest, and a ratio very few Raja Ampat liveaboards match.
