# Komodo Luxury: Luxury Yacht Charter Komodo and Raja Ampat

> Komodo Luxury (Labuan Bajo, since 2015) is an Indonesian yacht charter operator with its own phinisi fleet, founded by Agung Afif, headquartered in Denpasar (Bali) with its operations base in Labuan Bajo (Flores). It is the specialist maritime brand of Juara Holding Group; charter and brokerage contracts run under PT Komodo Bahari Nusantara. We sail private and shared phinisi yachts, superyachts, liveaboards and speedboats in Komodo National Park and, from Sorong, Raja Ampat. A private charter is the whole boat for your group alone, priced per package by guest band, on dates you choose; we do not convert it into a nightly figure. A Komodo open trip is a scheduled shared sailing of three days and two nights, sold per cabin, on a fixed Friday-to-Sunday or Monday-to-Wednesday rhythm. ## Komodo National Park entry: quota, dated ticket, fees (verified 24 September 2026)

Everything below is written the way we answer it on the desk. Each fact carries its source and date.

- Daily cap: Komodo National Park admits up to 1,000 visitors a day, about 365,000 a year, from 1 April 2026 (Ministry of Forestry press release SP.115/HKLN/04/2026, 15 April 2026). The ministry said on 24 April 2026 that the figure is not static and will be reviewed periodically (SP.127/HKLN/04/2026).
- Dated e-ticket: the Komodo National Park e-ticket is a dated, name-matched entry ticket registered through the park's SiOra system no later than the day before entry (head of Balai Taman Nasional Komodo, 5 February 2026, as reported by detikBali). South Padar is a session-controlled zone; the number of visitors per session is shown at registration for your date.
- Since 22 September 2026: every visitor enters only on the date printed on the e-ticket; the daily quota for September to December 2026 is being raised by at least 500 a day, in periodic adjustments, from quota unused earlier in the year and a cruise-ship quota review; visitors are asked to check availability before travelling. - Park charges: set under PP 36/2024 as displayed by the Balai: IDR 250,000 per international visitor per day, IDR 50,000 per Indonesian visitor per day (IDR 75,000 on Sundays and public holidays); our desk registers guests and lists the park line separately on your invoice. The Komodo National Park ticket is excluded from the trip price, set by government regulation, billed as its own line per person and confirmed by our desk. Purchased tickets are non-refundable; a date change means registering again for a date with available quota (Balai tariff page, read 24 September 2026).
- Drones: flying a drone inside the park needs a permit; the park charge is IDR 2,000,000 per unit per day under PP 36/2024 (Balai tariff page, read 24 September 2026).
- What our desk does: it registers the ticket for your sailing dates from the passport details on your booking (full name as in the passport, passport number, nationality, gender), pays the park in rupiah and confirms the ticket in writing. You do not need the SiOra app. Our desk registers the ticket for your sailing dates; the park requires entry on the ticketed date.
- What we do not do: we do not sell quota and we do not promise it. No operator can promise quota; it belongs to the park and is confirmed at registration, date by date. If a date has no allocation left, we tell you before you pay for flights. We cannot verify that any month in 2026 ran out of quota; the 22 September notice itself refers to quota that went unused.
- From our reservations desk: of 11,254 guest messages to our concierge desk (2025 to 2026), 339 touched the park ticket or quota, and 245 of them arrived in September 2026. Three questions sit behind them: how much is it and is it extra; do you handle the e-ticket or do we buy it; is it included in the price.

## Published rates on our four sailing boats (rate cards of 11 September 2026, checked 24 September 2026)

Private charters are priced per package for the whole boat, not per person; we do not convert it into a nightly figure. Guest count sets the band. Full-day sailings exist on Catnazse and Naturalia only; Malca and Ayvara start at 2D1N; Catnazse carries published packages up to 12D11N. On Malca and Ayvara the 2027 rate equals 2026; on Catnazse and Naturalia the 2027 rate is higher, so the year of travel sets the column. Rates are presented for review and are not a booking offer; itinerary, services, taxes, payment and cancellation terms are confirmed in your quotation. Park charges are quoted separately. Open-trip figures are USD per person per cabin for the 3D2N shared sailing (rate cards checked 21 September 2026). For a couple it works out higher per person than a shared cabin; for six or more the whole-boat rate is shared across everyone on board. ## How booking works at the desk (guest enquiries and coordination logs, 2025 to 2026)

- Availability: we check availability for your exact dates and confirm it in writing. A cabin can only be held for 2 x 24 hours (48 hours) once the desk confirms the hold. Reservations cannot be confirmed until we have received the payment.
- Deposit and balance: a 50% deposit secures the booking; the balance is due by the balance date printed on your invoice; departures close to the booking date are invoiced in full. Of the invoice requests in our finance logs (November 2025 to September 2026), 86% started as a deposit.
- Payment: invoices are in USD. Card payment by secure link, Wise or Revolut direct transfer to the details on the invoice, or PayPal; platform and transfer fees are borne by the payer, and the full invoice amount is what the desk needs to receive. A payment link reaches you in 85 minutes at the median (1,060 link requests during desk hours); that is the time to send the link, not the time to confirm funds.
- Lead time: about two months (median of our reservations desk bookings in 2026). Most guests travel as a pair (58% of manifest entries in the 2026 coordination logs).
- Documents: a trip preparation form for every guest; a copy of the passport bio-data page for every guest, used for harbour authority reporting and park registration; the Terms and Conditions signed by one representative of the group.
- Day one: hotel pickup in Labuan Bajo is the default (93% of pickups, coordination logs June to September 2026). Pickup windows are 08:00 to 09:00 for Malca, Ayvara and Naturalia and 08:30 to 09:30 for Catnazse; speedboat day trips collect at 06:00 to 06:30. The desk confirms the window in a WhatsApp group the evening before, and the driver calls you on the morning itself. We strongly recommend that our guests arrive one day before the trip begins.
- Last day: the boat docks between 11:00 and 12:00 at the latest; book a return flight from Labuan Bajo at 14:00 or later. Ask for it in writing before you book onward flights.
- Open trips: every open trip runs 3D2N and departs on Fridays and Mondays (310 departures July 2024 to September 2026: Friday 230, Monday 80).
- Included on our boats: the cabin, all meals and snacks at set times, coffee, tea and drinking water, snorkelling equipment with life jackets on board, pickup and drop-off within Labuan Bajo, and the destinations and activities on the itinerary. Excluded: Komodo National Park charges, billed per person as their own line; platform fees on card or PayPal payments; personal expenses. The list for your boat is the one in the PDF brochure and the Terms and Conditions attached to your booking.
- Children are welcome, including on open trips, under full parental supervision; a master or family cabin suits two adults and a child; child-sized snorkelling gear is not provided on board.
- Changes and cancellations: per the booking terms on your invoice and our T&C page.
- At sea: the Harbour Master regulates all sailing, so any itinerary is tentative and may change with sea conditions. Dragon sightings are not promised; the ranger-guided walk is how you look for them.

## Komodo National Park entry: the desk's full note (verified 24 September 2026)

Dated facts:
- 1,000 visitors a day, about 365,000 a year, from 1 April 2026; the limit applies across the park with a focus on Padar, Rinca and Komodo islands and 23 dive sites (Ministry of Forestry press release SP.115/HKLN/04/2026, 15 April 2026).
- The 365,000 figure is not static; the ministry will review it periodically and said an increase may be considered after the Padar trekking-path and jetty works (Ministry of Forestry press release SP.127/HKLN/04/2026, 24 April 2026).
- Every visitor and operator reserves through the SiOra application before entering, no later than the day before the visit, against that date's allocation; South Padar is managed by timed sessions (head of Balai Taman Nasional Komodo, 5 February 2026, reported by detikBali). The number of visitors per session is shown at registration for your date.
- Since 22 September 2026: entry only on the date printed on the e-ticket; the daily quota for September to December 2026 is being raised by at least 500 a day, periodically, from quota unused in earlier months and a cruise-ship quota review; visitors are asked to check availability before travelling; monitoring continues and all park users follow the park's rules (Balai Taman Nasional Komodo announcement PG.46/T.17/TU/KSA.04.01/B/09/2026, published on its official channels, 22 September 2026). No web copy of the notice was found on the Balai or ministry sites as of 24 September 2026.
- Park charges are set under PP 36/2024 as displayed by the Balai: IDR 250,000 per international visitor per day, IDR 50,000 per Indonesian visitor per day (IDR 75,000 on Sundays and public holidays); our desk registers guests and lists the park line separately on your invoice.
