Located in Wolowiro Village, Paga Subdistrict, Sikka Regency, Koka Beach is famous for its white sandy beach and snorkeling spot. Just a short walk away is Mau Lo'o Village where you can find Maumere's traditional houses and get a glimpse of the island's culture.

Built in 1873 by St. Francis of Assisi, Maumere's Old Catholic Church is a European style architecture and a symbol of the island's Catholic majority.

About 30 kilometers from Maumere, Sikka Village shows the process of ikat weaving where threads are turned into beautiful and lightweight fabrics. Watublapi Village is also famous for its figurative motifs with geometrical shapes and animals like lizards, horses and birds, reflecting the region's rich artistic heritage.

알로르와 마우메레에서 다이빙하기에 가장 좋은 시기는 4월부터 11월까지의 건기입니다. 이 시기에는 바다가 잔잔하고 시야가 매우 좋으며(15~30미터), 해양 생물들이 활기를 띠어 다이버들에게 최적의 시기입니다. 10월부터 11월 사이에는 종종 차가운 해류가 유입되며, 망치상어나 몰라몰라를 비롯한 대형 원양어류가 가끔 모습을 드러내기도 합니다.

다이빙은 일 년 내내 가능하지만, 12월부터 3월까지는 우기입니다. 이 기간에도 다이빙은 가능하지만, 비가 더 자주 내리고 파도가 거칠며 수중 시야가 나빠질 수 있습니다. 이러한 조건에도 불구하고, 특히 한산한 비수기 여행을 원하는 분들에게는 알로르와 마우메레를 경험하기에 여전히 아름다운 시기입니다.
