Komodo Luxury, an Indonesian operator based in Labuan Bajo since 2015, runs 2D1N to 10D9N itineraries with published rates from USD 3,250 per night for the whole boat, or from USD 300 per person for a cabin on a shared departure.
Every figure below states its basis. Charter rates are per night for the entire vessel, crew and meals included. Cabin rates are per person on a scheduled shared departure. Komodo National Park fees are separate in every case.

Rates are the current published charter rates for each vessel and are read directly from that liveaboard’s own page, so they stay in step with reservations. Several vessels are quoted in rupiah instead of dollars — Delilah from IDR 25,000,000 per night, Santemako from IDR 36,000,000 and Giona Cruise Liveaboard from IDR 40,000,000. Peak season, Christmas and New Year sailings are quoted separately, and 2027 rates are already open on part of the fleet.

Published diving-package rates for Magika Liveaboard (9 cabins, up to 22 guests), covering the whole vessel with dives, tanks, weights and dive guides included. Non-diving private packages on the same liveaboard run from USD 4,700 for 2D1N to USD 13,850 for 6D5N depending on group size. Komodo National Park fees are excluded from every package.

A cabin on a shared departure. Ahsana Liveaboard from USD 300 per person, Magika Liveaboard from USD 310, Sundari from USD 330 — the same reefs and the same crew as a private charter, at roughly a tenth of the whole-boat rate.
Best for a dedicated dive group
Magika Liveaboard, the only vessel in the fleet with a published diving rate card: 3D2N from USD 9,500 and 5D4N from USD 15,750 for the whole boat, 2026 rates. Arfisyana 2 (USD 4,700 per night, up to 22 guests) gives the lowest cost per diver on larger groups.
Best for families and mixed snorkel groups
Balaraja or Flores Utama from USD 3,400 per night, and Naturalia at USD 7,800 per night for up to 24 guests. Enough cabins for three generations, calm snorkel sites at Siaba and Manjarite while the certified divers work the pinnacles.

Best for remote and southern Komodo routes
Kudanil Explorer (50 m steel expedition hull, 8 cabins, USD 26,000 per night + 12% VAT). Range and stabilisation to reach Manta Alley and the southern sites on a 5D4N or longer itinerary, in conditions day boats and smaller phinisi will not attempt.
Best for a flagship charter
Lamima (65.2 m, 7 cabins, 14 guests, USD 27,000 per night + 11% VAT) or Prana (55 m, 9 cabins, 18 guests, USD 20,000 per night) — the two largest luxury sailing phinisi operating out of Labuan Bajo.

Park ticket prices are subject to change based on the prevailing government regulations at the time of the trip. Komodo Luxury quotes the current fee schedule at the time of booking rather than publishing a fixed figure that may fall out of date.
Not every group wants a dive-first schedule. Guests who care more about the hand-built ironwood hull and the sail rig than about tank counts usually charter a traditional Indonesian phinisi sailing under canvas, where the same crews run a slower, more topside-led route through the same anchorages. Groups who want the whole vessel to themselves on a shorter, tighter schedule should compare whole-boat private charter pricing out of Labuan Bajo.
Divers who finish a Komodo circuit and want the next step almost always look east. The same fleet and dive team operate extended Raja Ampat cruise itineraries on 6D5N to 10D9N routes, where the trade is fewer strong-current pinnacles for a far higher species count. For travellers still deciding between a multi-night cruise and a series of day sailings, the shorter Komodo boat tour departures cover the signature circuit without the overnight commitment.

Both bases are published, and they are not interchangeable. Charter rates are quoted per night for the entire vessel including crew, chef, meals, fuel and guided excursions. Shared-departure rates are quoted per person per cabin. A USD 5,500 per night boat sleeping 15 guests works out at roughly USD 367 per person per night when fully booked.
Komodo Luxury publishes a full diving-liveaboard package rate card. On Magika Liveaboard, a private 3D2N diving trip is USD 9,500 for 1–5 divers, USD 10,200 for 6–10, USD 11,250 for 11–15 and USD 12,200 for 16–20 at 2026 rates. The same package for 2027 departures is USD 11,000 to USD 14,100.
At published 2026 diving-package rates a private 4D3N liveaboard is USD 12,650 for 1–5 divers and USD 15,400 for a group of 16–20, whole boat, on Magika Liveaboard. Non-diving private liveaboard charters on the same vessel are USD 7,050 to USD 9,950 for 4D3N, and the entry-level private liveaboard package across the fleet starts from USD 11,250 for 4D3N.
Komodo Luxury runs 2D1N to 10D9N liveaboard itineraries from Labuan Bajo. 3D2N covers the signature circuit — Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Manta Point, Siaba. 4D3N adds Batu Bolong, Castle Rock and Crystal Rock at correct tide. 5D4N and longer reach Manta Alley and the southern sites that day boats cannot serve.
Komodo National Park entrance, ranger and harbour fees are excluded and are charged at the government rate prevailing on your travel dates. A drone permit inside the park is an estimated IDR 2,100,000 per unit per day and must be requested seven days in advance. Flights to Labuan Bajo, hotel nights before or after the cruise, alcoholic drinks, dive computer rental, PADI certification courses and crew gratuities are also excluded. Vessels marked with VAT are quoted before 11–12% Indonesian tax.
No. Open Water certification is recommended for the dive-focused itineraries, and advanced current sites such as Castle Rock and Shotgun require logged drift experience. Snorkellers are welcome on every departure — Siaba, Manjarite, Sebayur and Kanawa are shallow enough to enjoy from the surface while divers work the deeper sites.
April to September is the main season: calm seas, best visibility and the highest manta activity at Manta Point and Manta Alley. Komodo Luxury sails year-round, and the shoulder months of March and October usually combine good conditions with lower demand. Peak windows, Christmas and New Year are typically taken six to twelve months ahead.

Yes. Several vessels already publish 2027 rate cards alongside 2026 — Magika Liveaboard, for example, moves from USD 9,500 to USD 11,000 for a private 3D2N diving package. Where a 2027 rate is not yet published, the 2026 rate is used as the quotation basis and confirmed before deposit.
Komodo is closer, cheaper to reach and delivers high-energy currents, mantas and dramatic topography on itineraries as short as 3D2N. Raja Ampat is remoter and stronger on sheer species diversity, and generally needs 6 to 10 nights to justify the journey. Most guests sail Komodo first, then move on to Raja Ampat once they are comfortable with yacht-based diving.
