We recommend booking 4-6 weeks in advance, especially for peak season (June–October) and weekend departures. Weekday trips often have availability 2-3 weeks out. Cabins are limited (8-16 guests per boat), so popular dates fill quickly. Last-minute bookings (1-2 weeks) may be available, but with limited cabin choice.
Yes, our open trips are perfect for solo travelers—about 40% of our guests travel alone. Pricing is per person (no single supplement). You'll share a cabin with another same-gender traveler unless you choose the Private Cabin option (at double the per-person rate).
Weekday trips (Monday-Wednesday) tend to be less crowded at popular spots like Padar Island and Pink Beach, with a more relaxed pace. Weekend trips (Friday-Sunday) have livelier group energy and slightly better flight connections from Bali. Both trips follow the same itinerary and visit the same destinations. Pricing is identical.
Fly to Komodo Airport (LBJ) in Labuan Bajo. From Bali (Ngurah Rai Airport): Daily flights are available with Garuda, Lion Air, Citilink, and Batik Air (1.5 hours, USD 80-150 one-way). From Jakarta: 2.5-hour flights, approximately USD 150-250. We recommend arriving the day before your trip (accommodation not included) and departing the day after (trip ends around 2:00 pm on Day 3).
The trip price includes boat accommodation (2 nights), all meals (6 meals), snorkeling equipment, professional English-speaking guides, and drinking water. Additional costs: Komodo National Park entrance fee (IDR 700,000/~42 USD), alcoholic beverages (available for purchase), guide tips (optional), and personal expenses.
